About this subject
At the completion of this subject students will be able to:
- describe and explain the framework for local plan making
- examine the implementation of local planning including the assessment, control and guidance of development through regional, state and local legislation and plans
- apply logical processes, and search databases, to analyse the factors which impact on local communities
- demonstrate critical and creative thinking for future planning scenarios
- work in groups utilising the strengths of each member and effectively communicate ideas, concepts and solutions both orally and in written form.
