About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. reflect on personal practices and examine contemporary approaches to syllabus design and evaluation in language teaching
    2. integrate knowledge of curricula in planning, teaching and evaluating degrees and materials, and assessing language ability
    3. analyse and interpret degrees, materials and test items
    4. evaluate and adapt learning materials and evaluation procedures so as to be educationally, culturally and socially appropriate.
