About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. explain the evolution of landscape elements within western towns and cities
    2. explain the concept of heritage within its cultural context
    3. interpret the institutional setting within which planning decisions are made that impact upon landscape provision and heritage protection
    4. critically assess landscape and heritage quality
    5. present clear arguments in assessing landscape and heritage quality.
