About this subject
At the completion of this subject students will be able to:
- examine and interpret discipline knowledge relating to integration of systems within the interior environment
- research and analyse case studies of system integration within the interior environment
- observe and analyse local construction methods and industry practices

This subject was previously known as Interior Architecture Technology System Solutions.
This unit explores the complexities of effective system integration within interior environments. Acoustic, lighting, hydraulic and mechanical systems are given particular focus and these are investigated through interactions with specialist consultants, researching and analysing case studies, and observations of construction and detailing in a local context. Students will begin to interrogate the role of the interior designer as part of a network of professional consultants.
