About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. contextualise professional expectations in information services
    2. describe practical application of professional structures and standards in information services
    3. demonstrate understanding of practical requirements for information professionals by successfully completing practicum placement
    4. design and prepare documentation that articulates professional knowledge, skills and experience.

  • Placement requirements - There is a two-week full-time practicum placement attached to this unit. The placements are organised by Curtin University in accordance with guidelines.
