About this subject
At the completion of this subject students will be able to:
- critically analyse and evaluate a chose human rights issue
- apply appropriate research methods to practical or theoretical research (for students completing an internship)
- communicate research outcomes (for students completing a dissertation).
- Topics explored by each student will depend on their particular project
This subject, under the guidance of a supervisor, is either research or practice-based, depending on the interest of the student. A practice-based project involves an internship at a human rights organisation and a critical reflection of the experience. A theory-based project involves completion of a dissertation. This subject builds on the outcomes of CHRE601 Human Rights Project Preparation.
