About this subject
At the completion of this subject students will be able to:
- analyse the effectiveness of various construction processes used in high rise buildings
evaluate the application and performance of materials used in local and international high rise construction
produce construction details that illustrate and support component interfaces.

This subject was previously known as Commercial Construction.
This subject broadens students' knowledge in commercial and industrial areas of construction technology. Students will examine how commercial and industrial buildings are built and how materials are used in them and develop the ability to read plans and illustrate construction details. Fieldwork is a component of this subject.
