About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. critically appraise the literature to identify issues in an area related to international health, nursing, midwifery or paramedicine
    2. formulate appropriate research question(s) and objectives and/or hypotheses
    3. plan and construct appropriate methodologies to investigate the research question in an area relevant to international health, nursing, midwifery or paramedicine
    4. appraise the ethical implications of conducting research in different health and cultural settings
    5. compose a detailed research proposal of a standard deemed adequate at the postgraduate degreework master level.
