About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. demonstrate the principles and processes involved in research design, data measurement and collection, such as sampling, measurement reliability and validity
    2. critique research design including experimental, quasi-experimental and observational designs, such as cross-sectional descriptive case studies
    3. follow the concepts of hypothesis testing and apply appropriate methods (with analytical software, where appropriate) to analyse and interpret health related data.
