About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. describe and critically comment on the role and objectives of Health Impact Assessment
    2. analyse requirement and role of Health Impact Assessment in local or international contexts
    3. analyse the processes of development and evaluation of a Health Impact Assessment
    4. conduct Health Impact Assessments evaluating the factors influencing human health in relation to Health Impact Assessment
    5. integrate Health Impact Assessment into impact assessment structures elucidating the processes and methods by which health impacts can be assessed.
