About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. demonstrate understanding of the socio-cultural factors that influence curriculum and its implementation for diverse groups of learners
    2. demonstrate understanding of the knowledge and strategies that support students’ engagement with the curriculum
    3. outline general awareness of the existence, purpose and function of the Early Years Learning Framework and the Australian Curriculum
    4. apply curriculum theory and information in curriculum documents to create learning experiences.
