About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. identify and appraise appropriate methods for investigating epidemics and the epidemiology of infectious diseases
    2. apply epidemiological principles and methods to the investigation, management and control of infectious diseases
    3. analyse the public health impact of existing, emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases in developed and developing countries.
