About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. examine the main models used within health psychology
    2. compare and contrast models of health behaviour in predicting different health behaviours in different populations
    3. evaluate the different models that may underpin the prevention of disease and maintenance of health across the lifespan
    4. evaluate frameworks that inform intervention design
    5. demonstrate the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully design a health-based intervention.
