About this subject
At the completion of this subject students will be able to:
- apply appropriate media and techniques for design communication in a creative manner
- produce design imagery and models to communicate a design proposal
- synthesise and present design ideas clearly and to a professional standard.

This subject was previously known as Communicating Interior Solutions.
Students will develop skills and use of technologies to appropriately communicate design ideas to others. Free-hand drawing and digital skills are both emphasised, enabling students to evaluate appropriate techniques for given applications. Creativity is encouraged, as are testings of a diverse range of visual media and techniques. This unit provides a foundation for students to continue to develop their software knowledge and visual communication skills across the duration of the course.

Access to hardware: webcam, speakers and microphone Students are required to purchase or have access to the Adobe Creative Suite of programs, specifically Photoshop and InDesign. The presentation techniques learned in these programs will be used throughout the Interior Architecture Course.
Study load
