• What you'll learn

  At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

  1. research and explain the relevant issues and the strategies available to support the safe, responsible and ethical use of creative technologies in learning environments
  2. investigate strategies that support students' cyber wellbeing and safety within school and/or system, curriculum and legislative requirements when engaging with web-based technologies
  3. develop a strategic approach, informed by theory and practice, for using creative technologies to expand learning opportunities for learners
  4. plan for differentiated learning experiences suitable for a diversity of learners across the full range of abilities using creative technologies
  5. identify and evaluate appropriate sources of ongoing professional learning to enhance the use of creative technologies in learning environments

Entry requirements

Part of a degree

To enrol in this subject you must be accepted into one of the following degrees:

Core

• CUR-SEC-MAS-2022 - Master of Teaching (Secondary Education)
• CUR-PRI-MAS-2022 - Master of Teaching (Primary Education)
• CUR-MTE-MAS-2022 - Master of Teaching (Early Childhood Education)

Elective

• CUR-EDU-GCE-2022 - Graduate Certificate in Education

Additional requirements

• Other requirements - Access to Microsoft Office or a unit approved alternative, access to video creation and editing software.

Study load

0.125 EFTSL
