This subject focuses on aspects of the corporate finance theories and tools and techniques to facilitate financial decision making. It aims to expose students to and familiarise them with corporate sector financial management by examining the main issues faced by financial managers of public companies. Topics covered are: Information asymmetry and signalling, agency theory, capital markets and sources of funds, capital budgeting under uncertainty, capital structure, dividend policy, and market for corporate control and corporate governance.
