About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. demonstrate planning, programming and monitoring/control techniques used in projects
    2. appraise and use software applications and practical techniques in managing projects including planning, monitoring and control

    3. use computer technology to inter-link various project data with planning and scheduling.

Additional requirements

  • Software requirements - As part of this subject students are required to use MS Project (free for Curtin Students). This software only works on a PC, but is possible for use on a Mac (with modifications and a small cost to students). All details are provided throughout the unit and your tutor will assist you with this during the subject.
