About this subject
At the completion of this subject students will be able to:
- identify the concept, approaches and capacities of Building Information Modelling in construction management
- analyse the issues and challenges of implementing Building Information Modelling in construction management projects
- evaluate and demonstrate the use of Building Information Modelling as a tool for improving processes as applied to the role of the Construction Manager.

An introduction to Building Information Modelling to enable students to evaluate and apply Building Information Modelling as a tool for improving the management of construction projects.

As part of this subject students are required to download software (free for Students). This software works better on a PC, but is possible for use on a Mac (with modifications). All details are provided in the unit and your tutor will assist you with this during the subject.
Study load
