About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. apply the language skills needed to undertake professional-level editing tasks
    2. apply advanced page and screen based editing skills to professional-level editing tasks
    3. constructively critique fiction and non-fiction forms and assess their suitability for audiences and markets, taking into account cultural and gender specificities, and ethical and legal issues
    4. work independently and in teams to plan and execute an editing and publishing project to professional standards.
