Advanced Discipline Project 2
About this subject
At the completion of this subject students will be able to:
- argue cogently for conclusions and/or create materials that meet or reflect the research objectives of the project
- present research/creative practice or professional outcomes in a manner suitable for publication or presentation in a form appropriate to the discipline area
- reflect critically on their own engagement in, and understanding of the research form and process
- demonstrate advanced understanding of cultural, creative and/or technical aspects of the research area.
- A week-by-week guide to the topics you will explore in this subject will be provided in your study materials.
The second of two supervised independent Master project subjects involving detailed research in/of a subject to be chosen in consultation with the relevant discipline supervisor. This subject focuses on the completion and presentation of the research commenced in Advanced Discipline Project 1, and will be taken in the semester following or at the same time as that subject. The specific nature of the project, the methods of research and the outcomes in terms of reports, publications or presentations will be determined on an individual basis for each student and may include professionally orientated tasks or components.
