About this subject

  • Upon completion of this subject students should be able to:

    • Compare and contrast occupational health, safety and environmental concepts, processes and performance measures including advanced concepts of hazard and risk;
    • Describe the conceptual structure underpinning OHSE professional practice;
    • Communicate technical information and theoretical concepts effectively with OHSE professionals in a variety of relevant contexts;
    • Analyse the main organisational, technological, industrial law and socio-cultural factors that influence OHSE related decision making.
