Tyler was studying a degree on campus, but decided to take it online when he got a full time job. Rather than wait for graduation to start accumulating work experience and climbing the ladder, Tyler decided he wanted to try to do both at the same time.
Tyler enrolled in a Bachelor of Business majoring in Information Systems with Swinburne University. He found it relatively easy to transfer over his credits from his old degree, taking months off the length of his degree.
What Tyler appreciates most is the added support services that OUA add on top of what he receives from Swinburne University. He regularly takes advantage of the free 24/7 tutoring and student coaching to ensure that he gets the most out of his studies and stays on track!
What is Open Universities Australia?
OUA is not actually a university. It’s better.
Through OUA, you have access to leading Australian universities such as Macquarie, RMIT, Curtin, Swinburne, Griffith, La Trobe or Murdoch University. You study the exact same degree as an on-campus student. The only difference is that you study online, on your own terms. You choose when, where and at what pace you earn your qualification.
OUA has no barriers to enrolment. Entry into our courses is not dependent on your education background. Regardless of whether or not you finished high school or received an ATAR score, we’ll help you get into your desired course.
If you’re anxious about studying at a university level – don’t be. From day one to graduation, we’re here to help you through. We’ve got student coaches a phone call away, counsellors for when the going gets tough, 24/7 tutoring and preparatory courses to help you get your study skills up to scratch.
