How to enrol
You've done your research, you know what you want to study and you're ready to roll—and enrol.
Before you take a look at our step-by-step guide to enrol, there is something we would like to remind you about:
Whether you have a course or units in mind, or you're still deciding, studying through OUA means you'll always be enrolling in one or more units at a time.
Once you've decided on a course or units, follow these 5 simple steps:
Add units to study cart
Under “Enrol in units now” on the course summary page, select the units you wish to add to your study cart. You can add more than 1 unit.
Go to your Study Cart and register or log in
To get to your study cart click on the “Study Cart” (shopping trolley icon) on the top right hand corner of the page. If you have an account with OUA, simply log into the website. If you’re new to OUA, you will be required to create an account at this point.
Tell us when you want to study
Your study cart will display all units you have selected, and then you will be able to choose which study term you would like to study in. Not all units are available in every study term, and some units have prerequisites that have to be completed first as part of the degree. In such a case, you will receive an alert to check before proceeding with the enrolment.
Press the ENROL NOW button
Happy with your unit and study term selection? Press the ENROL NOW button at the bottom right corner.
Fill out the Enrol page information
Now you have to complete your personal details. Enter the information that is required by the government from all higher education students, and choose the payment option that suits you best.
What about Commonwealth supported place (CSP) units?
The enrolment process for Commonwealth supported place (CSP) units is a bit different. If you'd like to find out more about applying for a Commonwealth supported place course or enrolling in Commonwealth supported place units, see Commonwealth supported places .
