About this degree
Upon successful completion, you should be able to:
- Engage with key debates around integrity and anti-corruption;
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders working in the field of integrity and anti-corruption;
- Understand and respond to contextual factors that can undermine integrity and lead to corruption;
- Identify and understand different types of corruption and responses to it;
- Assess responses to corruption and threats to integrity;
- Devise solutions to corruption and threats to integrity.
Integrity is now, perhaps more than ever, a key component of decision making, management and leadership. Skills and training from the specialisation prepare you to respond effectively to complexities such as corruption and threats to integrity. If you are or will be in a leadership role in government, civil society or industry, this specialisation is for you.
Integrity and Anti-Corruption, one of the Master of Public Policy specialisations, will equip you with the skills and practical insights to improve governance, public trust and integrity. In particular, it will help you:
• Understand complexities in governance;
• Debate, identify, assess, and communicate effectively in the area of integrity and anti-corruption;
• Solve the problems that undermine integrity and lead to corruption in the process of decision and policy making.
The study will expose you to the political, economic, and social complexities that undermine integrity and lead to corruption. You will receive training on how to examine policies, organisations and institutions that can build and undermine integrity. When you complete the study of the program, you will have the in-depth knowledge and skills to identify corruption and threats to integrity, assess responses, and devise solutions. You will be able to engage in key debates around integrity and anti-corruption, effectively communicate with stakeholders working in the field, and evaluate and create solutions. The program has a range of elective subjects and can be tailored to students’ professional field and interests.

Entry requirements
At a minimum, all applicants must meet program-specific academic/non-academic requirements, and English language requirements. Admission to most ANU programs is on a competitive basis.
· Bachelor degree or international equivalent with GPA 5/7; or
· Bachelor degree or international equivalent with GPA 4/7 and a minimum of 3 years full-time equivalent work experience at ANZSCO Skill Level 1 in a field related to the program; or
· Bachelor degree or international equivalent with GPA 4/7 and a Graduate Certificate or international equivalent with a GPA of 4/7; or
· Graduate Diploma or international equivalent with a GPA 4/7; or
· 48 units of courses in a postgraduate program with a GPA of 4/7; or
· Graduate Certificate or international equivalent with a GPA of 4/7 and a minimum of 3 years full-time equivalent work experience at ANZSCO Skill Level 1 in a field related to the program; or
· Graduate Records Examination (GRE) General test, completed no more than 5 years before the time of application, with a minimum score of 155 for Verbal Reasoning, 155 for Quantitative Reasoning and 4.0 in Analytical Writing and a minimum of 3 years full-time equivalent work experience at ANZSCO Skill Level 1 in a field related to the program; or
· A minimum of 10 years full-time equivalent work experience at ANZSCO Skill Level 1 in a field related to the program.
In line with the university's admissions policy and strategic plan, an assessment for admission may include competitively ranking applicants on the basis of specific academic achievement, English language proficiency and diversity factors.

Applicants with a Bachelor Degree, Bachelor degree with Honours, Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in a cognate discipline may be eligible for up to 24 units.
