Award requirements
To be eligible for the award of Master of Finance (MFin), a student must acquire 160 credit points for the core courses.

Entry requirements
Hold any Bachelor degree (or higher) from a recognised University (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing) with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 scale)
OR
hold a Bachelor degree in finance (or equivalent) from a recognised University (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing) with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (using a 7.0 scale) - students will receive 40 credit points of advanced standing
OR
hold any Bachelor degree from a recognised University (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing) with a minimum GPA of 4.0 AND have successfully passed the Level I examination for the Chartered Financial Analyst Program administered by the CFA Institute - students will receive 40 credit points of advanced standing.English language requirements apply to International applicants and other applicants whose previous study was undertaken in a language other than English.

Study method requirements
You can choose to study our Master of Finance online or on-campus, either part-time or full-time. Our on-campus Master of Finance allows you to network face-to-face with your fellow students and lecturers; and our online version offers social platforms and virtual rooms for your connection with a vibrant virtual community of like minded professionals. You can finish your degree in just two years full-time or fit study more comfortably with your work and personal life over four years part-time. You can also fast-track your study by completing our accelerated online Graduate Certificate in Finance or Master of Finance. Courses run for six weeks allowing you to focus on one subject at a time and still graduate in up to two years. You can start whenever you are ready with six intakes each year.

The Master of Finance is a comprehensive postgraduate program, which equips students with the knowledge and skills suitable for a variety of jobs in financial services industry. It helps to build strong understanding of major investments products and markets in the finance industry, such equity, fixed income, alternative investments and derivatives.
This understanding is then applied in the process of portfolio planning and construction, and wealth management and financial advice with the emphasis on ethical and sustainable professional practices.
