This program aims to provide structured coursework developing epidemiological, biostatistical and methodological skills to an advanced level. All expenses incurred with PUBH7950 dissertation are the responsibility of the student.
Limited Summer Semester entry is available to domestic students only as elective courses are offered in that semester.

Entry requirements
To be eligible for entry, you'll need:
- an approved degree in the same discipline, with a GPA of 5; or
both:
- an approved degree in any discipline, with a GPA of 5; and
- 1 year full-time (or equivalent) work experience in a healthcare, public health or research setting, as approved by the executive dean;
If progressing from the Graduate Diploma in Epidemiology, students must have gained a GPA of 5.5 in 8 units from part A of the GDipEpi course list.
All applicants must satisfy the UQ English language proficiency requirements for admission.
If you've completed previous study, you may be eligible to receive credit for – or exemption from – certain subjects in a UQ program. Assessment of prior learning and the granting of credit or exemption will be consistent with the Recognition of Prior Learning Policy (limits in section 2.4).
