Projects require the procurement of a wide variety of resources in order to carry out the various project activities. The process by which people, goods and services are obtained is referred to as procurement. This unit explores project procurement; acquisition processes; procurement planning; source selection; procurement documents; tendering and awards and contract administration.The unit also considers the body of law that affects procurement.

  1. design a Procurement Management Plan for an authentic project
  2. evaluate prequalification/tender criteria and source selection in a project environment for an authentic organisation
  3. review a procurement case study and reflect upon and analyse its efficacy.
