An examination of the principles and rules of plumbing, drainage, mechanical and electrical measurement using the Australian Standard Method of Measurement of Building Works, and their application to construction work examples. The principles and rules of civil engineering measurement are also examined using the Method of Measurement of Civil Engineering Works and Associated Building Works, and applied to civil engineering work examples.

  2. interpret specifications and drawings for measuring building services and civil engineering works
  3. produce measurements for building services and civil engineering works in accordance with industry principles and rules.
