At the completion of this unit students will be able to:

  1. compose lesson plans and lesson sequences that integrate the Proficiency Strands of the Australian Curriculum: Mathematics
  2. construct learning experiences that adapt a range of strategies and resources for a variety of contexts and children
  3. demonstrate knowledge of documents connected to teaching mathematics in Western Australia, nationally and internationally
  4. argue in reasoned and informed ways about issues and ideas raised in mathematics education.
