On successful completion of this unit, students should be able to:

  1. Effectively communicate occupational health safety and environmental (OHSE) concepts and language related to OHSE performance
  2. Calculate a lost time injury rate
  3. Assess the various techniques that are used to measure OHSE MS performance
  4. Appraise the steps and process of an OHSE audit.
