Students apply core theory, technological strategies, and/or practices to a major interior architecture project. Students are also required to integrated research strategies to the select project. Three modes of study are available to construct the project. Students may select a practice-based, an experimental, or a mixed-focus approach to their project. Emphasis is given to peer mentoring and self-directed learning. This unit is informed by and develops the content and skills acquired during the previous semesters.

At the completion of this unit students will:

  1. assess, evaluate and synthesise information, from a range of technologies, relevant to the development of a project
  2. think critically and reflectively to form and to argue a design proposition
  3. evaluate and apply discipline knowledge, principles and concepts creatively to a design project
  4. critique and apply cultural and international perspectives to a proposed design project
  5. communicate effectively in a professional manner suitable for purpose and audience.
