Open Universities Australia (OUA) is pleased to announce that a new course, the Bachelor of Business provided by Griffith University, will be available for online study through OUA from Study Period 3, 2011.

The Bachelor of Business is an industry-leading degree, and has been accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (A.A.C.S.B.), an internationally-recognised business degree accreditation organisation.

Students interested in specialty studies within the business industry are well catered for by the new degree, which offers two majors:

  • Management
  • Human Resources

There are also a number of specialisations available, provided by other leading universities, including:

  • Finance (Swinburne University)
  • Occupational Health and Safety Environment (ACU)

The Bachelor of Business is particularly well suited to students who were interested in completing the Bachelor of Business Studies, provided by Monash, and no longer available through OUA. Any students interested in transitioning to Griffith's Bachelor of Business are urged to view the equivalencies table to see what units may be eligible for credit from Griffith.

Swinburne University's Bachelor of Business will continue to be offered through OUA. Its focus on different specialisations within the business industry will ensure that OUA students have a strong range of options for their tertiary study.

Enrolments in the Bachelor of Business Studies will open on 20th July, and the course information will be available on the OUA website from this date. Prior to that, prospective students can view additional information about the course via the Bachelor of Business Information PDF.

OUA and Griffith look forward to providing students with flexible, high-quality tertiary education in the business field.

Any existing or prospective students interested in enrolling in the Bachelor of Business can do so from 20 July. Enrolments for Study Period 3 close on 14 August.
