Professor Tania Broadley
Nominee Director – RMIT University
Professor Tania Broadley has held the Interim Deputy Vice Chancellor & Vice President role in the RMIT University College of Design and Social Context since November 2019. The College of Design and Social Context comprises the disciplines of art, design and fashion, media and communication, architecture and built environment, education and social sciences.
Prior to this role, she joined RMIT as Deputy Pro Vice Chancellor, Learning & Teaching in February 2019. Previously, Professor Broadley was Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning) in the Faculty of Education at Queensland University of Technology (2016-2019) and Academic Lead of the Curtin Learning Institute at Curtin University (2013-2015).
Tania’s research areas are concentrated in the field of teacher education, educational technologies and academic professional development. She completed her PhD in the discipline of education, is on the national Teaching Performance Assessment Advisory Group for the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL), funded by the Australian Government, is a member of the Victorian Council of Deans of Education and the Australian Council of Deans of Education and has previously been a State President and National Board member of the Australian College of Educators.
