At the heart of what we do is students. So at the heart of our organisation is the Student Experience team. It encompasses three areas - Brand, Communications & Marketing; Customer Care & Student Enrolment Services; and Student Success & Support Services.

Courses & Quality
Our Courses & Quality unit is all about transformation. It’s constantly improving programs and relationships that ultimately lead to a better experience for our students. This team advises and supports OUA and the education institutions we work with in developing new ways of approaching technology, learning design and quality control.

Our IT team is one of the reasons we’re so well regarded as an organisation of innovation. It provides vision and leadership on future technology directions for the organisation, contributing to our success by focusing on technological design and improvement.

Like every organisation, OUA is subject to various laws, regulations and standards. Our Corporate Services unit makes sure we comply with them all, in addition to our own Constitution. The unit also provides financial and operational insight and control.

People Performance & Culture
Why do people come to OUA to work and why do they stay here? That’s a question that our People Performance and Culture team work on every day. Among many other things, they develop and manage human resource strategies and policies, design and execute HR processes and services, and create initiatives to cultivate an ever-improving culture.

We’ve recently made a giant leap into the brave new world of MOOCs (massive open online courses). Open2Study offers students the chance to dip their toe in the online learning water at no charge and with no strings attached. It’s another way OUA is leading the way in online education.
