Key Dates

Key enrolment dates

Don't be caught out by missing OUA's key dates.

These include the dates for Study Periods, which apply to most undergraduate units, and for Sessions, which apply to most postgraduate units. Many preparatory units are open continuously, while OUA's enabling units have varied study terms.

Key dates include the Close of Enrolment, Census Date and academic events such as exams. Don't forget to use your Study Planner to get yourself organised!

Exams are usually held in the weeks following the end of each Study Period or Session. Find out more in the Exams key dates.

Important Dates

Please note: Most undergraduate units and most TAFE units and a few postgraduate units offered through OUA are offered in Study Periods. Most postgraduate units are offered in Session Sessions, but a few postgraduate units are now full-year units and follow the dates shown below.

Planning your study

Staying organised is the key to academic success. Use the OUA Study Planner to keep track of your important dates, deadlines and priorities.

To make the most of the Study Planner:

  1. Download the PDF files for your Study Periods or Sessions
  2. Open the files using Adobe Acrobat Reader. (You can download Acrobat Reader for free)
  3. Enter your important dates by clicking on the calendar and typing in the relevant box. For example, if you have an assignment due on 6 May, simply click on that date in the Study Planner and make a note of it
  4. Save, update and print your Study Planner whenever you want
  5. Click on any of the handy links in the Study Planner to be taken to useful areas of the OUA website

2013 Schedule

Complete schedules of all 2013 Undergraduate and Postgraduate Unit offerings and the Study Periods/Sessions are available below.

In addition to the 2013 schedule, OUA will continue to offer access to UniSA's Commonwealth-funded Bachelor of Nursing and provide access to the Griffith Commonwealth-funded Master of Social Work.
