Getting results
Getting your results can be an exciting and stressful time. Results are usually available six to eight weeks after the end of each Study Period or Session. To view or download results, sign in to My study centre, select Completed units and then select the appropriate link.
You can also get your results from your provider, but not all universities release their results at the same time. Check the table below for more information.

How to get a statement of your results
If you need a copy of your academic results, the quickest way is to download a statement from My study centre.
Two types of academic statements are available:
- A Record of Results lists results for all units taken through OUA, including failed and withdrawn units.
- A Statement of Attainment lists only the units in which you received a pass grade or higher.
There is no charge to download a Record of Results or a Statement of Attainment. If required, OUA can email a copy of your preferred statement to a nominated third party at no charge. In My study centre go to My courses and units and select Completed units to download your statement or to submit your request for a copy to be sent to a third party.
If you would like OUA to post a hard copy of your statement, a $15 charge will apply. Contact a Student Advisor to order your statement and pay by credit card. Alternatively, post a cheque / money order payable to 'Open Universities Australia' and include a cover letter stating your full name, date of birth, OUA ID and the type and number of statements you require. Academic result abbreviations
Open Universities Australia is not an award granting body. Units offered are standard higher education subjects developed and assessed by the particular provider institutions. A common set of assessment grades has been adopted by all providers; however, the mark range for each grade may vary between institutions. If necessary, this information can be obtained directly from the academic provider.
