Getting started

Computer requirements

You will need to use a computer throughout your studies for accessing learning resources, doing research, preparing assessment, making notes and communicating with your teachers and fellow students. You might have access to a computer, eg at work or at a library, or have your own computer at home. Either a desktop computer or a portable computer like a laptop or netbook would be fine. The recommended minimum computer requirements are listed below. Please check unit details closely for any additional or specific requirements.

If you own other devices such as a tablet PC / iPad, smart phone or MP3 player you may be able to use these during your studies as well. More and more learning resources are becoming accessible on mobile devices to help you fit in study while on the go.
