Description

Explore various approaches for developing and managing information systems. Developing meaningful systems on time and within budget requires an understanding of many organisational and technological factors, sufficient skills to identify and manage change agents and the skills to coordinate resources. In this unit you examine the relationship between information technology and its organisational context, and how it can be used for strategic competitive advantage. eCommerce has emerged as a significant business strategy in the information age. Technical developments have made possible the convergence of the computing and telecommunications industries changing the way business is conducted.
