Description

This unit considers possible ways in which business requirements can be elicited and mapped to technical implementations while remaining suitable for the business model of the particular business as well as engaging with stakeholders. The unit evaluates the appropriateness of various elicitation, communication and documentation tools and processes commonly used for business analysis in the context of the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK). Given these aims a substantial portion of the unit is devoted to developing the practical skills associated with business process modelling. The use of such modelling is placed firmly within organisational contexts.
