The BAS Agent Registration Requirements for the Tax Practitioners Board include these two BAS units.  Please refer to the Tax Practitioners Board for further information as these units alone do not qualify for BAS registration.

This is a basic GST/BAS taxation principles course providing useful knowledge for students seeking to develop a career in accounting or business, as well as small business owners and sole traders seeking the skills to handle their own BAS procedures.

Award Requirements

To be awarded these units, students must successfully complete the assessments (invigilated examinations).

Registering in this Course

These units are stand alone units. They are not part of a qualification currently offered through OUA. You can enrol into these units without restriction.

Recommended Study Pattern

It is advisable that both of these units are completed at the same time due to similarity in content.  This is not a mandatory requirement and the units can be completed individually if required.
