Description
The aim of this unit is to bring together the theory and practice of previous tourism units and provide students with the experience of assessing, implementing, developing and managing a sustainable tourism project. Students will undertake a tourism project (location-based or simulated) whereby you identify real world concerns, conceptualise and implement alternative tourism opportunities or management frameworks in response to the issues identified. Students (in groups) are expected to assess, plan, develop and present a project proposal and final project brief.
Please note: Assessment values are indicative only; details will be advised at the start of the unit.
