Description
ECO22 Environmental Economics has three broad aims. The first is to demonstrate the important contribution economic principles can make in relation to managing the environment. This unit also aims to raise your consciousness of environmental issues. Finally the unit aims to broaden your understanding of the main causes and effects of modern environmental problems.

You must have successfully completed the following unit(s) before starting this unit:
- ECO11 — Principles of Economics (Previously Microeconomics 1)
If you have completed equivalent study at another university, please contact a Student Advisor for advice.
Assessment
- Invigilated Exam — (50%-60%)
- Online Discussion — (15%-25%)
- Research Essay — (20%-30%)
