Students who have previously completed units from the Bachelor of Business Studies (Monash), but now wish to complete the Bachelor of Business (Griffith) should refer to the table of Griffith unit equivalences.
Students are also recommended to register for the Bachelor of Business (Griffith) in order to receive credit and study options advice by contacting the Off Campus and Assignment Handling Services.

Award Requirements
To be eligible for the award of Griffith Bachelor of Business (BBus) through Open Universities Australia, a student must acquire 24 units as prescribed below:
-
complete 8 Level 1 Business Introductory core units
-
complete one Griffith University Business award major consisting of 8 units
and either:
-
a second major (and approved electives to total 8 units) from those offered by Open Universities Australia which must be identified as a major by the other faculty and completed according to their requirements
-
or complete 8 elective units which can be chosen from one of the specialisations listed or from any undergraduate course offered by Open Universities Australia provided you meet the award requirements
When planning your studies you must also meet the following requirements to receive this award:

complete no more than 10 Level 1 units
-
complete at least 6 Level 3 units
-
at least eight units (or one-third of the degree) must be Griffith Business School units studied via Open Universities Australia
-
complete no more than 3 units in which the grade of Pass Conceded has been attained.
Recognition of Prior Learning / Credit
Students may be able to receive credit for previous studies conducted at other institutions. Please contact the Administration Officer, Off Campus and Assignment Handling Services at Griffith prior to registering in any units through Open Universities Australia.
Registering in this Course
Students are required to register with Griffith University for this award by completing a registration form and paying the required fee. The non-refundable $100 registration fee is payable when the form is submitted. While there is no immediate requirement for potential students to register in the degree course, students who are transitioning into this award are recommended to register as soon as possible in order to receive advice on credit and unit selection.
