Description

If businesses are to survive in an increasingly competitive and information-oriented environment they will need trained managers who can speak, write and interact with others efficiently, effectively and professionally. 

Explore the theory and practice of communication in the business environment from a management perspective. This unit offers you an opportunity to build both theoretical and applied knowledge as you examine the management of communication in a crisis situation. You can expect to explore and build on previous studies in communications. You are also encouraged to adopt a management perspective when working on assignments and practical activities. This unit introduces communications skills for managers.

There are no prerequisites for this unit.

Note: Level 2 units normally assume an introductory level of prior knowledge in this area, e.g. from studying related Level 1 units or other relevant experience.
